The Student Worker FSW position in the retail trade industry offers an excellent opportunity for students to gain practical experience while contributing to the efficient operation of retail services. This role primarily focuses on supporting daily store functions, assisting customers, and ensuring a positive shopping environment. Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a student at University of Missouri - St. Louis.
• Basic proficiency in English for effective communication with customers and team members.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude toward customer service.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks such as lifting and stocking.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail or customer service roles.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic cash handling.
• Knowledge of inventory management processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers by answering questions, providing product information, and guiding them to desired merchandise.
• Stock and organize shelves to maintain product availability and store presentation standards.
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Support inventory management by receiving deliveries, checking stock levels, and reporting discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
