Registered Nurse - Chemotherapy Infusion

Overview St. Luke’s Cancer Institute (SLCI) clinics are dynamic, full-service outpatient hematology/oncology treatment centers offering chemo/biotherapy and radiation therapies. St. Luke’s holds a Commission on Cancer (CoC) accreditation, reflecting a commitment to high-quality, multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care. The Meridian cancer center provides medical and radiation oncology specialists and fellowship-trained cancer surgeons in areas including thoracic, hepatobiliary, gynecologic, and urologic oncology. Responsibilities Provide hands-on nursing care for Oncology patients in the Meridian chemotherapy infusion center (CIC). Administer high-risk medications, such as chemotherapy and immunotherapy, in accordance with clinical protocols. Infusions include chemotherapy/biotherapy, blood products, electrolytes, and fluids; monitor patient status and respond to adverse events. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure a positive patient experience. Qualifications Education: Nursing degree (RN). Experience: 1+ year of RN experience. Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure in the state of practice and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health & Safety Institute. Preferred: Oncology experience; OCN certification and/or ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification. What You Can Expect Full-time (0.9 FTE): day shift — no nights or weekends. Schedule: 4x9’s or 5x8’s & 4x8’s rotation. Rotating holiday schedule: 1 holiday every 2 years (St. Luke’s observes 6 major holidays).
