Beach Landscapers/Grounds Maintenance

Our client, a leader in coastal environmental maintenance and landscaping, is seeking a dedicated Beach Landscapers/Grounds Maintenance to join their team. As a Beach Landscapers/Grounds Maintenance, you will be part of the Grounds Maintenance Department supporting shoreline stabilization and aesthetic enhancement projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Beach Landscapers/Grounds Maintenance

Location: South Padre Island

Pay: 18.00 an hour

Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Project Length: 3 Weeks

What's the Job?

• Maintain landscaped and planted areas in a coastal environment, ensuring health and appearance.

• Prepare planting sites by drilling holes using power tools or augers suitable for sandy and compacted soils.

• Install plants, grasses, shrubs, and other vegetation to support shoreline stabilization and aesthetic appeal.

• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment such as augers, drills, shovels, and rakes.

• Monitor plant health, address erosion issues, and remove debris or invasive species to maintain the quality of planting areas.

What's Needed?

• Experience with landscaping, planting, or grounds maintenance preferred.

• Ability to safely operate power drills, augers, and other landscaping tools.

• Knowledge of soil preparation, fertilization, and basic plant care.

• Physical ability to lift, dig, bend, and work outdoors in beach and coastal conditions.

• Understanding of safety procedures and proper equipment handling.
