EVENING CASH OFFICE ASSOCIATE (Baymeadows)

Location: 9866 Old Baymeadows Rd Job Id: 394 # of Openings: 1 We are looking for an Evening Cash Office Associate to join our Rowe's Team. The purpose of this position is to ensure customers leave the store with a positive experience. This person will perform cashier duties scanning items quickly and accurately, handling money and giving accurate change in checkout lanes. This role will also be providing support to the store accounting operations. This role will work variable evening hours/shifts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Balance office by counting all tender and completing balance reports. Counts down and reconcile register tills. Accepts payment and provide change when appropriate. Handles cash and other forms of tender accurately. Provide exceptional customer service including greeting customers and answering questions with a positive attitude. Delivering a great shopping experience and contribute to a positive environment of teamwork. Bags products when necessary. Maintains a neat and clean register area. Assists in other duties as assigned. Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: High attention to detail and accurate reporting. Ability to read, write, and do simple math. Detail-oriented and organized. Friendly outgoing attitude. Ability to operate cash register system. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to work well with others and work well as a team. A passion for serving people. Bilingual abilities are a plus. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Cash Office Associates perform their duties primarily at the front end of the store, with exposure to outside weather conditions at times. Work involves standing at a register for prolonged periods, repetitive arm and hand movements, moving and lifting product, and continuous interaction with customers and fellow associates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
