We are currently seeking Journeyman Electricians to support the construction of some of the most challenging and exciting projects in the Southwest, including commercial, industrial, mission-critical and water/wastewater treatment facilities. Project Assignments Some of the largest data center and semiconductor programs in the Southwest with years of backlog. Wages We are offering a very competitive base rate plus incentive on participating projects. Hours 50-Hour work weeks plus optional overtime. Direct electrical construction work for assigned projects. Ensure professional resolution of escalated field-related issues and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with Field Leadership to maintain project flow and schedule. Enforce all NEC local codes and stay up to date on industry changes. Interpret drawings, sketches, software, plans and determine best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems. Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks; make terminations. Install control and distribution apparatus and fasten in place. Test and start up systems and continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components by testing and starting up systems. Observe functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement. May be required to pull wire through conduit and connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment. Disassemble and repair defective electrical equipment or systems. Operate electrical and mechanical hand tools, power, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical tools. Qualifications 5+ years of working knowledge of electrical construction experience. Proficient knowledge and compliance with all NEC and OSHA safety standards. Possess strong expertise in all aspects of trade-related materials, components, equipment, systems, methods of installation, safety procedures, safe work practices, trade-related calculations, blueprint and drawing interpretation, and troubleshooting. Ability to lift 50 pounds, unassisted, frequently throughout the day. Ability to work from various heights via ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and other safe work platforms and areas. Able to work a 40-hour work week, with overtime and off-hour shifts as required. Able to work in extreme weather conditions and elements, indoor or outdoor, including heat, cold, rain, mud, dust, and snow depending on the job location. OSHA-10 Certification card preferred. Corbins will provide training for you to obtain this if you do not currently have it. Safety Level This is a safety sensitive position, and all applicable policies including drug test and background check will apply. The inherent responsibilities of your role may include physical working conditions. In order to safely and successfully perform job duties you must be able to: Potentially lift up to 50 pounds. Potentially need to do repeated pushing, pulling, carrying, reaching (or working above shoulder), walking, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and climbing.
