Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced RN for ICU with EPIC charting proficiency. The role involves providing specialized critical care within a busy acute care setting, with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive ICU nursing care to critically ill patients.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Monitor patient vital signs and responses, adjusting treatments as needed.
Document patient progress accurately in EPIC electronic health records.
Adhere to facility policies, including safety protocols and nicotine-free requirements.
Complete all required modules, certifications, and compliance training prior to start.

Qualifications:

Must have at least 18 months of ICU (MICU) experience, with 2 years preferred.
Valid AHA or Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications at the time of submission.
NIHSS certification obtained prior to start date.
EPIC charting experience required.
Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours) and float within scope to multiple facilities within 20 miles.
Nicotine-free and able to pass a 10-panel drug screen.
