Part-Time Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist

Position Part‑Time Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist – Sammamish/Issaquah/Snoqualmie. APPS Paramedical is one of the largest paramedical companies in the United States, offering nationwide coverage as we complete insurance physicals for people applying for life, health, or disability insurance products. The Western Washington office is looking for quality medical professionals to help us complete these exams in a timely, professional manner on behalf of the insurance company. Bilingual applicants are encouraged. Job Summary Independent contractors (ICs) are self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision while completing quality exams using their medical knowledge. Exams are conducted on a mobile basis in the client’s home or office and may involve blood draws, medical histories, signatures on packets, vital signs, saliva samples, and 12‑lead EKGs. Contractors must follow all compliance and safety policies while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in gathering client information. Exam duration varies from 15 minutes to just over an hour depending on requirements. Hours Set your own schedule—exams are available 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Many contractors have full‑time jobs and use this opportunity to earn additional income. We handle appointment scheduling so you can focus on medical exams. Job Details Reimbursement: You are reimbursed every two weeks by direct deposit for each exam you complete. Territory: Set your own territory by choosing the zip codes you will work within. Orientation: A 3‑4 hour in‑person orientation verifies your skills and shows you the paperwork and website used by our ICs. Equipment: Equipment such as tablets, EKG machines, and centrifuges may be rented. Your own equipment will be considered but is not guaranteed. Some items must be purchased: Manual BP cuff (Large & Extra Large). Equipment list: Stethoscope, tape measure (soft/fabric & metal), printer/paper/ink, 400‑lb scale, 1 box extra gloves, 1 box alcohol swabs, 1 box band‑aid or Coban, 1 box gauze. Qualifications Actively practicing phlebotomy with a minimum of 1 year of work experience. Trained in manual blood pressure and pulse collection. Familiarity with tablets/computers. Preferred experience with pediatric and geriatric patients/home health. EKG experience preferred but not required. Reliable vehicle with a valid state driver’s license and auto insurance. References and background checks will be conducted. Education: High school diploma or equivalency. Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant state certification is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
