Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is based near Fremont, MI, and centers on fostering student growth, well-being, and success in partnership with dedicated educators and families.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program required
• Valid licensure or certification to practice as a School Social Worker in Michigan
• Prior experience providing social work services in a school environment strongly preferred
• Exceptional communication, empathy, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to empowerment, inclusion, and supporting diverse student populations

Responsibilities and Key Duties:

• Deliver direct social-emotional and behavioral support to students, both individually and in group settings
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans addressing academic, social, and emotional concerns
• Facilitate communication and partnerships between school staff, students, and families
• Provide crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and referrals as needed
• Support implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
• Maintain documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives that promote positive school climate and student well-being
