About the Position

Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: ARRT MR, BLS Must-Have: Experience with Siemens Altea MRI Scanner required. Willingness to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays. Description: The MRI Tech will perform MRI scans, excluding cardiac procedures. The daily caseload is approximately 25 patients per day. Regular floating may be required between departments and units. Clinicians should be experienced in various MRI procedures, including but not limited to abdomen, brain, breast, and pelvis scans. The tech will be responsible for the preparation and administration of contrast media as needed. Experience with patient care in an acute care setting is preferred. The role requires completion of compliance modules before the start date. The contractor must meet all training and documentation requirements prior to beginning the position. All requests for time off must be finalized at the time of submission. No new requests for time off will be accepted after the initial submission. Failure to complete required modules on time will result in a delayed start date. The facility cares for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. The contractor must be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the facility.
