Heavy Equipment Technician / Mechanic

Foley Equipment is the authorized Caterpillar dealer in Kansas and NW Missouri. Our Equipment Technician is primarily responsible for troubleshooting, servicing and repairing heavy machinery in the shop. This includes large and small earthmoving equipment. Hourly Base Rate: $24.62 - $32.02 / hour What You Will Do in This Role: Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on heavy machinery, diagnose and troubleshoot problems, make recommendations for repairs and perform critical repairs and adjustments Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments Develop and maintain long-lasting working relationships with customers Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations. Physical & Working Requirements This role involves hands‑on mechanical work in a shop environment. The employee must be able to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
