Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician

• Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Fill prescriptions and prepare IVs
• Enter data into the computer system for prescriptions and reimbursement payments
• Prepackage medication following standards and regulations
• Assist in final checking of filled prescriptions and coordination of medication delivery
• Maintain inventory practices, including receiving, rotating, and logging medications
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment, checking equipment calibration and safety
