Job Title: Assembler (Entry Level)

Job Description

As a Cable Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly of cables, ensuring that all components are accurately connected to connectors. You will work at designated stations, receiving a kit of materials and assembling cables from there. These cables are utilized by the military, requiring precision and attention to detail. You will follow blueprints to complete assemblies and work with small components, often using a magnifying glass for precision.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cables and connect them to connectors.
• Identify and report any damaged materials.
• Work from a kit of materials to assemble cables.
• Follow blueprints to complete cable assemblies.
• Utilize a magnifying glass to assemble smaller parts.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience as a cable assembler.
• Ability to use a magnifying glass for small parts.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient in reading blueprints.

Work Environment

The work environment operates on two shifts: 7am to 3:30pm and 10am to 6:30pm, with a shift differential for the second shift. The dress code is casual, allowing for jeans and a plain shirt. No personal protective equipment is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Haverhill, MA.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Haverhill,MA.
