We are representing a prominent local general agency of OneAmerica Financial® that actively prioritizes developing high-performing professionals transitioning from non-financial fields. Position Overview
Our client does not expect you to have a background in finance. They provide a fully structured, classroom-to-field training curriculum designed to teach you macroeconomic planning principles, client acquisition, and advanced case design. You will be paired with a seasoned mentor to help you build a highly predictable, relationship-driven local business.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in a structured, multi-phase licensing and financial planning training program.
Learn to host consultative 'discovery' conversations to evaluate client needs, financial vulnerabilities, and cash flow.
Design tailored asset-protection, disability, and retirement planning solutions using the firm's advanced financial modeling software.
Build a local advisory brand by engaging with local communities, professional organizations, and personal networks.
Requirements
No prior financial industry experience required; background in sales, teaching, operations, or management is highly valued.
A natural ability to build trust, paired with deep professional empathy.
Strong work ethic and the self-discipline to manage an autonomous, entrepreneurial schedule.
Must pass a standard industry background check and licensing exam (sponsorship provided).
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent track record of professional success.
Compensation & Professional Development
Sponsored licensing (Life & Health, FINRA registrations) and continuous professional development.
Start-up financing programs combined with competitive commissions and residual income streams.
$60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year. This role features a performance-based compensation structure with uncapped earning potential. To support your transition, our client partner provides dedicated startup financing programs, transition allowances, and fully sponsored licensing training during your launch phase.
