Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN!

Job Description:


- Location: New York
- Shift: Days (4 10's or 5 8's)
- Must have EPIC experience on profile, as facility is transitioning to EPIC.

Requirements:
- New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required upfront.
- 14-panel drug screen must be completed within 24 hours of acceptance.
- Completion of training from Welle (Verbal De-escalation bundle required) or CPI required as of 1/1/2024.
- COVID vaccinations encouraged, but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care to acute inpatient and elective outpatient populations in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of specialized physicians and technologists.
- Perform continuous assessment of patient hemodynamics.
- Administer conscious sedation and manage IV/IC infusions.
- Assist physicians in interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety.
- Recover patients to Phase I and monitor their responses during recovery.

Additional Information:
- Personal scrubs of any color are allowed (no designs or cartoons).
- Requests for time off must be noted at the time of upload (NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS).

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of current Cath Lab experience required.
- 2+ years of experience in cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures is required.
- Moderate Sedation Certification preferred.
- Must have Cath and peripheral experience, as well as STEMI experience.
- Proficiency in interpreting EKG and HeModynamic pressure tracings required.
- Conscious sedation and IV experience required.
- Must have own vehicle.
- Reliability is key-no attendance concerns, call outs, etc.

- Current NY License, ACLS, and BLS certifications must be uploaded with profile.
