Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and staff
• Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
• Compassionate, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to helping children thrive

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ needs and develop customized intervention strategies
• Provide direct OT services as outlined in IEPs and 504 plans
• Collaborate closely with teaching staff, school psychologists, and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation consistent with school and state guidelines
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to maximize student success
• Offer support and intervention for students with various physical, sensory, or motor challenges
