Commercial Relationship Manager
Carmel Valley, San Diego, CA
A well-established California commercial bank is seeking an experienced Commercial Relationship Manager to join its growing team in Carmel Valley.
This role is responsible for developing and managing commercial banking relationships, generating new business, and serving as a trusted advisor to middle-market and privately held business clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop new commercial banking relationships through business development and networking activities
- Manage and expand an existing portfolio of commercial clients
- Originate Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and owner-occupied commercial real estate loans
- Generate deposits, treasury management, and other bank products and services
- Structure credit opportunities and work closely with underwriting and credit partners
- Maintain strong asset quality and portfolio performance
- Participate in community, business, and professional organizations throughout the San Diego market
- Collaborate with internal banking partners to deliver a superior client experience
- Achieve loan, deposit, fee income, and relationship growth goals
Qualification
- s5+ years of commercial banking relationship management experienc
- eProven business development and calling skill
- sExperience originating commercial loans and developing deposit relationship
- sUnderstanding of commercial credit, financial statement analysis, and cash flow evaluatio
- nStrong network within the San Diego business community preferre
- dBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent commercial banking experienc
