VP, Private Company and EPL Claims Leader

Primary Responsibilities Develop and lead a high‑performing claims team, capable of independently assessing complex claims and collaborating with claim, legal, and underwriting colleagues. Build a culture of accountability and strong broker/customer‑facing skills to complement technical expertise. Provide claim portfolio assessments that enable the company to view portfolio performance by line of business, product, year, claim type, industry sector, etc. Develop and maintain strong broker and customer relationships. Work with internal operations and support teams to drive claim efficiency and compliance. Required Education Juris Doctor (JD). Required Experience 10+ years of relevant experience. Competencies / Skills Advanced understanding of U.S. financial lines market, especially EPL and Private Company management liability markets, market cycles, claim trends, pricing trends, products and distribution channels. Outstanding critical thinking and writing skills. Outstanding presentation abilities. Demonstrated leadership experience, leading by example, inclusive, and developing talent. Preferred Education Juris Doctor (already listed as required). Licenses / Certifications U.S. law degree and license. Compensation Salary range: $181,000–$309,000. Final offer based on role complexity, location and candidate background. Eligible for annual discretionary bonus plan.
