Facilities Support

Lakemary is looking for a Facilities Support position for our Facilities Department. A person who is a self-starter, highly motivated and can work independently without close supervision. Work involves duties in a fast-paced environment that require the application of many skills and the ability to complete projects in a timely manner. Perform work out of our Olathe locations. This role functions under general supervision of the Facilities Director.Facilities Support Responsibilities:General maintenanceGeneral HVAC maintenanceCarpentryMinor ElectricalPainting/Drywall RepairsMinor PlumbingMaintain grounds and landscapingMaintain and repair doors, adjust door closures, and replace door handlesPerform minor carpentry workPerform all facilities maintenance jobs as requiredPerform all general labor jobs in residential housing, buildings and campus improvementsPerforms outdoor maintenance as requiredMaintain company tools and all equipment properlyAn ideal candidate for this position has:Knowledge of:Standard maintenance practicesTools, equipment, and materials associated with a variety of maintenance jobs and repairsOccupational hazards and safety precautionsSkills:The use and operation of power and hand tools used in construction/repair work.
