Job Description

The warehouse forklift driver is to receive and pick merchandise in our warehouse to be ready for storage or transport. The warehouse forklift driver will load and unload outgoing and incoming delivery vehicles. This position will select products from the warehouse, load and secure goods to pallets, move inventory to delivery area, and load merchandise using a forklift or pallet jack.  

Responsibilities: 

• Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment.  
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles 
• Accepting delivery of inventory. 
• Counting and confirming inventory. 
• Inspecting inventory for damage and faults. 
• Communicating errors to relevant parties. 
• Receive and input stock into inventory. 
• Marking and labeling stock as necessary 
• Storing inventory in accessible manner. 
• Utilizing shipping labels as needed 
• Pick orders with forklift and electric pallet jack. 
• Perform and report working use/safety of forklifts/equipment.
• Helping with cycle counting and inventory audits when needed. 
• Keep track of outbound and inbound equipment 

Requirements: 

• Work experience as general laborer, preferably in a warehouse 
• Knowledge of warehousing industry is a plus 
• Ability to operate forklift. (On the job certification is available) 
• Completion of background check and drug screening 
• Ability to work individually as well as in a team setting.
