**Exciting Opportunity: Behavioral Psych RN - Days** **Job Description:** - Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Geropsychiatric Unit, where you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients. - **Key Responsibilities:** - Assess, monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions. - Maintain accurate patient reports and medical histories. - Perform mental and physical assessments. - Administer medication and treatment to patients. - Assist patients with daily activities and observe reactions. - Manage therapeutic milieu activities, including daily groups and 1:1 sessions. - Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure the best possible care for patients. - Complete individualized treatment plans upon admission and continuously update them. - Plan, implement, and coordinate nursing care activities based on patient needs. - Conduct therapies according to patients' diagnoses. - Provide efficient discharge plans and obtain accurate histories at admission. - Complete all required documentation in a timely and efficient manner. - **Job Requirements:** - Education: - 2-year Associates degree or diploma from a 3-year Nursing program required. - Bachelor's degree preferred. - Valid State of New Hampshire RN license. - BLS certification required. - **Experience:** - Minimum of 1 year previous nursing experience preferred. - **Skills:** - Strong knowledge of medical terminology. - Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. - Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. - **Quality of Care:** - Assure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards. - Measure health outcomes against patient care goals and regulatory standards. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
