Aircraft Painter

Accomplish tasks assigned by the Paint Supervisor. Ensure that all paint activities are accomplished and have the knowledge to interpret that the job has been accomplished in accordance with the proper manual/data. Accomplish detailing and placing templates, customer supplied logos/data, applies final finish. Report any difficulties, uncertainties, unserviceable equipment or potential safety hazards to their supervisor and observe all safety precautions in the performance of assigned tasks at all times. Report any tool issues to stores and ensure the correct tag is attached and properly completed. Take part in any required training including GMM and safety. Keep all work areas clean and orderly. Be able to work both alone and in a team environment. NATURE AND SCOPE Able to perform minor to intermediate structure tasks with little supervision. Able to use FAA approved data (i.e. IPC, M/M, OHM, SRM) proficiently. Insure work performed adheres to high quality standards. Commitment to company values and ethics. Dependability: personally responsible, completes work in a timely manner, and performs tasks accurately. Motivation: must maintain a positive attitude and strong work energy. Organization: very detail oriented and always comes prepared. Analytical skills: must be able to gather information and use data to determine cause and effect for complex problem solving. EDUCATION High School Diploma/GED. EXPERIENCE Minimum of three years experience required. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Must have own tools, as provided on CJ list of required tooling. Is required to be proficient in oral and written English. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift and/or pull objects weighing at least 50 lbs. WORKING CONDITIONS Requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing. Expected to work through specially designed airframe, engine and undercarriage openings while standing on ladders or scaffolds; to use hoists and lifts; required precision instruments and other necessary tools.
