PT Outpatient

Duties Provide outpatient physical therapy services, including treatment for post‑operative conditions such as TKA, THA, RCR, spinal surgeries, ACL, and arthroscopies. Address non-operative issues including neck, low back, knee, shoulder, and foot/ankle pain. Treat general deconditioning, balance/gait challenges, and neurological disorders like CVA, Parkinson's, and TBI. Manage a daily patient load of 11-12 scheduled patients, focusing on ortho/neuro/geriatric cases. Work hours are 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM on Fridays. Occasionally float to the acute inpatient side as needed. Skills Orthopedics Ankle sprains, cervicalgia, DDD, DJD, elbow injuries/tendinopathy Extremity mobilization, gait training, hip fractures/injuries Knee injuries/tendinopathy, low back pain, post-op cervical surgery Post-op shoulder repair, post-op spinal surgery, sciatica Spinal conditions, spinal mobilization, total hip replacement Total knee replacement Work settings: Aquatic Therapy (preferred), Outpatient Clinic Assessment: AROM/AAROM/PROM, assistive devices, body mechanics Identifying environmental barriers, pain assessment Documentation: Assessment, discharge, evaluation, long‑term goals Plan of care, reassessments, short‑term goals, time management Equipment and Devices: Crutches, gait belt, rolling walker Shoulder slings, sliding boards, soft/hard collars, standard walker Modalities: Cryotherapy, hydrotherapy Professional Skills and Knowledge: Home exercise program Patient family education, patient transport to and from treatment Signs & symptoms of physical, sexual, psychological abuse Specialty/Patient Population: Neurology (preferred), Sports Medicine (preferred) Additional Skills: Lifting and transfer Experience Previous charge experience preferred 1 year of experience preferred, but candidates with less experience will be considered Certifications: BLS required, Manual Therapy preferred Travel experience not required Spanish speaking preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr TALENT Software Services
