Optometrist Part Time – Sacramento, CA Visionworks Doctors of Optometry - PC seeks a state‑licensed Optometrist to lead quality of care and the patient experience in our new Sacramento, CA market. The role is part of our #Oneteam, focusing on comprehensive eye care and elevating patient outcomes. Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Doctor of Optometry who is tech‑savvy, people‑focused, and passionate about integrating eye care into the broader healthcare system. The successful candidate will help lead the industry in comprehensive eye care while mentoring under renowned optometric leader Dr. Rupe Hansra. About Us Visionworks Doctors of Optometry offers the benefits of being a doctor without the hassle of running a practice. We handle insurance billing, credentialing, staff hiring & training, and administrative work. Our primary‑care offices provide comprehensive eye care, including routine exams, contact lens evaluations, and medical treatment for eye diseases. State‑of‑the‑art equipment includes Optos California, Topcon Digital phoropters, Eyefinity EMR on iPad, and Henson 9000 Visual Field Analyzer. What You’ll Do As part of Visionworks #Oneteam, you will practice full‑time or part‑time, providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages and visual/medical needs. Responsibilities include: Perform patient examinations and recommend vision‑enhancing solutions based on prescription findings. Handle eye emergencies and provide urgent care when needed. Collaborate with staff to deliver a commitment to improving access to health care. Work with optometry technicians to assess patients and provide contact‑lens teaching.
