Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing principles, patient care techniques, and medication administration.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly.
• Note: 24 hours per week, day shift. No weekends or evenings, no holidays. Busy outpatient dermatology clinic, assisting Physicians with rooming, procedures, inventory, billing, restocking, etc.

Skills:

The required skills enable the LPN to provide safe and effective patient care by accurately administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and documenting clinical information. Strong communication skills are essential for educating patients and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure cohesive care delivery. Preferred skills such as experience with EHR systems streamline documentation and improve information sharing across disciplines. Organizational abilities help manage the dynamic demands of patient care, ensuring timely interventions and adherence to protocols. Additionally, cultural competence and bilingual skills enhance patient rapport and support inclusive care for a diverse community.
