Quality Control Representative

Job Description Summary As a Quality Control Representative working for Taylor Morrison, you will ensure the construction of our homes is implemented, audited, maintained, and exceeds Taylor Morrison’s high safety and quality expectations. Responsibilities Perform job‑site inspections throughout the division and organize and distribute results to each job‑site. Conduct monthly job‑site safety audits in collaboration with management, organize, record, and distribute audit findings. Participate in new community startup meetings with trade partners to review safety and quality expectations. Be familiar with the Taylor Morrison/Darling Safety Programs and assist builders with proper implementation of safety procedures. Perform quality inspections on homes, compile reports, and re‑walk the home on schedule. Conduct monthly model quality walks and send reports to the Builder and Sales representative in each community. Work with trade partners regarding trends in deficiencies and trade issues in both safety and quality. Enter data efficiently into the BuildPro Warranty and Inspection System. Provide warranty support when necessary, demonstrating knowledge of the Taylor Morrison Warranty Program and Homeowner Maintenance requirements, and delivering high‑level customer service. Assist superintendents and sub‑contractors by retrieving information using Build‑Pro. Attend an OSHA 10‑Hour Instruction Course. Willing to perform other duties as assigned. Report to the Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to the schedule. Competencies & Attributes Reasoning / Conceptualization Ethics & Integrity Leadership Respectful Sense of Urgency Strategic Thinking Qualifications High School Graduate with a minimum of 3 years of current or recent experience in a customer‑service related position. 1–2 years of experience in residential construction. Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to ensure customer satisfaction. Computer skills and ability to adapt to company systems. Time‑management skills and strong organizational abilities. High attention to detail and problem‑solving ability. Ability to multi‑task and maintain focus. Additional Job Details FLSA Status: Non‑Exempt. Position is considered non‑exempt, requiring a time record and eligibility for overtime pay.
