Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients of varying acuity, following evidence-based protocols
• Administer and monitor respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen, aerosol, and nebulizer therapies
• Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and lung function assessments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to develop individualized patient respiratory care plans
• Educate patients and families on disease management and equipment use
• Accurately document care delivery and patient responses in electronic medical records

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Alaska
• Previous experience in an acute care or hospital setting is strongly preferred
• Strong communication, assessment, and clinical problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and protocols
