Position Overview

This position is for a Technologist specializing in CT and X-ray imaging. The role takes place during the night shift, specifically lasting from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, including weekends. This is a unique chance to work in a critical access facility with a focus on quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans and X-rays.
• Utilize equipment safely and effectively, adhering to radiation safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Ensure accurate administration and documentation of contrast media.
• Handle emergency situations and provide support in the Emergency Department.

Job Details

• Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, weekend shifts from Friday to Sunday.
• Patient Care: Support diverse age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
• Team Support: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, and Rapid Response Teams.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Valid Washington State License for CT/X-ray Tech.
• Certifications: ARRT-CT preferred, ARRT Radiography, and BLS.
• Experience: At least 1 year of clinical experience in CT and X-ray.
• Charting System: Proficient in Epic.
• Skills: Knowledge in various imaging techniques, including those for abdominal, chest, and musculoskeletal examinations; proficiency in venipuncture and contrast media administration.
