Job Description

The Pharmacy Technician plays a crucial role in supporting pharmacy operations within a small team environment. This position involves accurately dispensing medications, assisting customers, processing prescriptions, and verifying insurance claims during standard business hours and flexible shifts. The role requires precision, strong communication skills, and a commitment to quality service without regular travel.

Responsibilities

Dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions
Provide excellent customer service and support
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
Process prescriptions efficiently and verify insurance information
Collaborate with small team of 1-3 technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations

Required Qualifications

3+ years experience in pharmacy operations
High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in medication dispensing
Strong customer service skills
High attention to detail
Proficient in data entry
Excellent communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team
Basic math skills
