RN - NICU

Registered Nurse - Level III NICU

Location: New Jersey

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night 3x12-Hour Shift (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Level III NICU. The RN will provide specialized care to critically ill neonates and support their families through complex medical situations.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver developmental care and patient/family teaching.
• Monitor infant health with BG monitoring, thermoregulation, and sepsis workup.
• Administer blood and blood products; manage arterial lines and central lines.
• Provide medications including anti-seizure, antibiotics, and vasopressors.
• Support GI/nutrition needs including breastfeeding and tube feedings.
• Manage respiratory interventions such as CPAP, ETT suctioning, and ventilator care.
• Participate in floating to Newborn, Pediatrics, and PICU for appropriate assignments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active NJ or Compact RN license.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications; PALS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of current Level III NICU experience.
• Experience with developmental care, phlebotomy, and therapeutic interventions.
