Import Specialist II

Supporting the Champlain, NY team remotely, the full-time Import Specialist II will process and integrate customer data, manage import customs clearance documentation, and serve as a liaison for customer service while adhering to a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. Key responsibilities Prepare and manage import documents for customs clearance, ensuring compliance with U.S. government regulations Serve as the primary customer service liaison, resolving issues related to billing, tracking shipments, and building customer relationships Coordinate shipments and maintain communication with customers, carriers, and vendors throughout the import process Required qualifications High school diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years of recent customs brokerage experience Familiarity with import customs clearance procedures and documentation Experience handling confidential information and compliance with regulatory agencies Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment Virtual Vocations Inc
