Handyman Connection Carpenter OpportunityHandyman Connection of Winchester, VA is seeking a carpenter with experience as a residential carpenter to build decks, build screen porches, replace doors, install trim, install shelving, custom carpentry projects, etc. Handyman Connection is a locally owned and operated, well established home improvement company serving Frederick County (VA), Clarke County (VA), Warren County (VA), Shenandoah County (VA), Berkeley County (WV), Jefferson County (WV), and Morgan County (WV) with excellent customer service and quality work.What You Will ReceiveEarn up to $1,200/week, depending on your skills and availabilityWork as an independent contractor on your own scheduleEmployment opportunities are also availableProfessional office support - scheduling, customer support, job tracking, billingSuccessful marketing campaign that brings us well qualified customersResponsibilitiesYou must have experience as a residential carpenter, and you must have a positive attitude.You must be experienced with the following: install Trex and or Timbertech composite decking, installing various types of composite or vinyl railing systems, installing Screen-Tite Screening SystemsConstructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, plywood and wallboard.Ability to determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing projects.Ability to read and interpret plansKnowledge of local building codesEvaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues, and present a description of a work order to a customer.RequirementsValid driver's license and own transportationYour own toolsBusiness liability insurance (for independent contractor)VA or WV contractors license (for independent contractor)Business license (for independent contractor)10 years of professional experience in residential home repairs and remodelingPass a criminal background check - no criminal convictionsWe are always looking to speak with an experienced handyman or craftsman who has experience as a remodeler, carpenter, electrician, plumber, painter, mason, or installer or any skilled tradesman (apprentice, journeyman or master level) from the residential or commercial construction industry.
