Shift: Day, 5x8-Hour (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Hours/Week: 40

Employment Type: Contract

Certifications Needed: BCLS, NBSTSA

Experience: Minimum 2 years; Level I Trauma experience required

Pay Rate: $50.69 per hour

What You'll Do

• Provide expert surgical assistance across various specialties including neuro, ortho, trauma, urology, and gynecology surgeries
• Prepare and manage surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies ensuring sterile technique
• Assist with trauma, craniotomies, neuro spine, and complex orthopedic procedures
• Support minimally invasive procedures, including laparoscopic and scope-assisted surgeries
• Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards
• Collaborate with surgical teams, surgeons, and anesthesia staff to ensure smooth procedures
• Adapt to a variety of specialized surgical cases, including trauma, organ donation, and thoracotomies

What You Need Required:

• Valid Certified Surgical Tech (CST) certification
• BCLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience
• Level I Trauma experience (CORE requirement)
• Experience with neuro, trauma, ortho, and general surgeries
• Ability to work 90-120 neuro call hours every 6 weeks

Preferred:

• Experience with DaVinci XI robotic surgical systems
• Skilled in specialty procedures such as craniotomies, brain and spine surgeries, and complex trauma cases
• Experience with organ donation, GSWs, thoracotomies, urology, gynecology, plastics, and ENT procedures
