About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Must-Have: Covid Vaccine required Description: Covid vaccine is required. A license is required to submit. All requested time off must be included with the submission. No exceptions for time off will be made. The manager conducts interviews for this position. There are 4 birthing rooms and 7 postpartum rooms. The unit has the capability to overflow into an additional swing unit, generating a total of 12 postpartum rooms. Advanced fetal monitoring is preferred, but basic fetal monitoring is acceptable. Looking for a well-rounded RN who can cover Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Mother/Baby, and Nursery guidelines. Cancellation policy states that the client may cancel 2 shifts per 13-week contract. Travelers cannot volunteer to leave shifts or refuse shifts to receive guaranteed hours. No guaranteed hours will be provided in the orientation week, during unit closure, on holidays, or during weeks with requested time off. The charting system used is EPIC. A BSN is not required for this position. Trauma level is applicable as per care setting.
