Office Assistant

Express Employment Professionals is seeking Office Assistants for a local client. The Office Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role is responsible for a variety of tasks such as answering phones, filing, scheduling, data entry, and supporting team members with daily office needs. Key Responsibilities: Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner. Greet and assist visitors, clients, or vendors in person or via phone/email. Perform data entry, update records, and maintain accurate files and documentation. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries. Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and managing calendars. Prepare and edit documents, reports, and correspondence. Order and maintain inventory of office supplies and materials. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office common areas. Support other departments with administrative tasks as needed. Comply with company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements. Pay: $13.00/HR - $16.00/HR Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm Requirements 1+ year of office, administrative, or clerical experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with office equipment (printers, scanners, etc.). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Friendly, professional attitude and customer service skills.
