Maintenance Technician

Oregon Mary's Woods 17400 Holy Names Drive Ste 70 Lake Oswego, OR 97034, USA Mary's Woods is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Facility Services team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the team that is responsible for responding to resident work requests while also balancing work on preventive maintenance items. This position is responsible for general maintenance of buildings and grounds of Mary's Woods. You will be contributing to the maintenance and operations of the premises to create a beautiful and safe community for residents and their guests to enjoy. You must be able to relate positively and favorably to staff, residents, and families, and enjoy working on a team. Mary's Woods is a non-profit senior living community founded in 2001. We offer independent living, assisted living, memory care and residential care in a park-like setting on 40 acres in Lake Oswego. Responsibilities Working knowledge and ability to operate power hand tools and equipment and read common measuring instruments Perform interior and exterior repairs to the buildings, grounds, equipment, system Perform minor repairs on carpet, tile, and plastic laminate Assist in testing fire alarm, emergency generator, HVAC, and other systems and participate in fire alarm, personal call, and other emergency responses as needed Move appliances, furniture and other items to assist with the repair and maintenance of apartments and common area spaces Perform minor carpentry on interior wood products, cabinets, shelving units and laminate flooring Perform scheduled maintenance checks of the buildings, grounds, and facilities Education and Experience Required Education and/or experience equivalent to the completion of a High School Diploma A minimum of three years experience in facility maintenance is required Schedule Monday to Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Employee Benefits Free Employee Trimet Pass Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability and Flexible Spending Account first of the month after hire (working 30+ hours per week) Employee Assistance Program 403b with match Paid Time Off & Holidays Tuition Assistance Program Access to Fitness Center & Pool Complimentary Food Item per Shift Working at Mary's Woods in any capacity means you're supporting an organization with a mission rooted in the core values of respect, compassion, excellence, stewardship and justice.
