Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) with a minimum of 3 years of experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: ASCP or equivalent certification
• Required Education:
  • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or in chemical, physical, or biological science
  • If military training, must have a high school diploma or GED and completed an official military medical laboratory procedures course of at least 50 weeks duration, holding the military enlisted occupation specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist (laboratory technician).

Skills Required

• Phlebotomy

Department Support

Charting System

The laboratory utilizes the Laboratory Information System (LIS) – EPIC: Beaker.

Orientation and Training

The orientation period typically lasts 2 weeks but may vary based on experience.

Scheduling Information

• Shift Times: Various shifts; details to be discussed during the interview.
• Weekend Rotation: To be discussed in the interview.
• Call Requirements: Yes, further details to be discussed.
• Holiday Expectations: Rotates among all staff.

Other Details

• Request Time Off (RTO) requires approval from the manager.
• Uniform: Scrub color is red.
• Parking: Free parking is available.
