About the OpportunityToyota of Iowa City is seeking Experienced Automotive Technicians who take pride in precision workmanship, strong diagnostic ability, and completing repairs correctly and efficiently. Our service department is equipped with advanced Toyota factory tools, diagnostic systems, and modern equipment to support technicians who want to perform at a high level.

Requirements• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an automotive technician
• Toyota experience preferred but not required
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Proven track record of efficiency, accuracy, and quality workmanship
• Commitment to OEM repair procedures, safety standards, and attention to detail
• Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and mechanical/electrical repairs on Toyota vehicles
• Collaborate with Service Advisors to ensure clear communication and accurate repair documentation
• Complete repairs according to Toyota factory standards and dealership expectations
• Maintain productivity while delivering high-quality workmanship
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with Toyota technology, including hybrid and EV systems
• Contribute to a professional, team-focused service environment
