Facility Security Officer Full Time Chantilly, VA, US 4 days ago Requisition ID: 1071 ITility is seeking an experienced performance driven Facility Security Officer to coordinate and monitor highly sensitive aspects of DoD or other industrial security programs and activities IAW U.S. Government and Company requirements. The FSO will work closely with the customers, company leadership, assigned program management and staff. This position will be hybrid with 2-3 days per week onsite in ITility’s Chantilly, VA Headquarters. Responsibilities The selected FSO will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of the Industrial Security Program are accomplished in alignment with DCSA, and in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and Intelligence Community Directives (ICD). Responsibilities include: Conduct required internal security self-inspections and take the lead during DCSA security reviews/assessments. Ensure compliance with applicable government and company policies and procedures. Provide security education/training to cleared employees, administer security indoctrinations, conduct annual security refresher trainings and debriefings, and regular re-briefing of employees on foreign travel and hostile intelligence. Securely maintain all ITility facilities and personnel security records. Maintain successful working relationships with government agencies and security offices of current customers. Conduct internal security investigations, coordinate and submit reports to external agencies, as required. Working knowledge of DCSA security databases to include DISS, NBIS, eAPP, and SWFT. Collaborate and consult with the Contracts Department to ensure compliance with all prime and subcontractors’ security requirements, including the completion and tracking of all DD254s. Assist with badging for employees, subcontractors, and others as needed. Manage the ITility HQ Office including coordination with the facility leasing and security organizations. Participate in proposal development solutioning and writing that relate to proposed security management requirements. Required Qualifications Active Top Secret security clearance. A minimum of 10 years relevant and related experience. Minimum completion of FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities (IS030.CU) Additional certifications: FSO Orientation for Non-Possessing Facilities (ISO20.CU) or Insider Threat Program Senior Official (INT101.16) Certification. 10 plus years of experience as a security professional with at least 7 years as an FSO or CSSO supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community programs. Thorough knowledge of the government clearance process and DoD security programs (NISS, DISS, NBIS, eApp and SWFT). Demonstrated knowledge of the 32CFR Part 117- NISPOM and ability to administer it. Demonstrated knowledge of the 32 CFR Part 117/NISPOM. Ability to manage complex situations, along with a demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks while still meeting deadlines. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Physical Requirements Work is typically performed in an office setting. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see. Must have the ability to lift 15-25 pounds.
