The Role Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Processes and manages Quality Notifications in support of material availability to meet schedule. Reviews status of projects and priorities; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Utilizes multiple systems including SAP, Power Bi and Excel in establishment of agendas and performance of duties. Process and Manages Material Quality Notifications. Must Have Associate's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience One of the following may be used as equivalent to Associate's Degree to meet minimum qualifications: NNS Apprentice School graduate Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate High School/GED and 2 years of related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience High School/GED and 4 years of non-related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience Why HII We build the world’s most powerful, survivable naval ships and defense technology solutions that safeguard our seas, sky, land, space and cyber.
