CNC Machine Operator

CNC MachinistOpenwork is currently engaged in a search to find CNC Machinists/Operator for a manufacturing facility located in Manor, TX. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts while maintaining quality and safety standards. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist looking to grow within a stable and supportive company.As a CNC Machinist, you'll be responsible for:Operating CNC machines to manufacture parts according to specifications.Setting up machines, including loading materials and selecting appropriate tooling.Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.Monitoring machine performance and making necessary adjustments.Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standard.Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor machine issues.Using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Maintaining a clean and organized work area.Following all company safety guidelines and procedures.Supporting team members and supervisors with daily production needs.What you'll need:2+ years of CNC machining experience.Ability to safely operate CNC equipment and use precision measuring tools.Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Reliable work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team.Basic understanding of manufacturing and shop safety practices.Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.Perks:Pay ranges from $24–$32+ per hour (based on experience).Two schedule options available: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:30 AM (Fridays off, occasional overtime)Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMOpportunity for overtime.On-the-job training and skill development.Career growth and advancement opportunities.About Openwork:Openwork is a talent-first staffing company on a mission to bring ease and thoughtfulness to an industry we've held a footing in for 50+ years.
