AHCH provides a distinctive continuum of integrated care through outreach and site-based services to address the health-related causes and consequences of homelessness. We may be the right fit for you! We are currently looking for an upbeat medical assistant to join our team. Our ideal candidate would be a team player and have previous experience in an underserved population. Compassion for and an understanding of the wide variety of issues for those experiencing homelessness is a must.Our MA team works in rotating schedules doing Outreach work in the field, in the Clinic, and on designated Administrative shifts. We work from a harm reduction model and believe in meeting people where they are at. We view client care holistically and connect clients to various resources within our organization and without. If this sounds like you, please apply!We comply with all OSHA and CDC guidelines regarding PPE and have various procedures in place to safeguard employees.This is a full-time, non-exempt position.We have two MA position available in the AHCH clinic, which is located at 1217 1st St NW. Hours align with the regular campus schedule, 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday.
