Job Title: Level 2 RN Outpatient Infusion Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Duration: Full-time Shift: 4x10.0 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2-3 years of recent infusion experience required, outpatient clinic experience highly desired License: Current, unencumbered RN licensure Certifications: ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification, Current BLS certification from AHA Must-Have: - Experience with Epic EMR and Alaris infusion pumps - Strong IV/vascular access and port access skills - Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and the oncology care team Description: An exciting opportunity to join a community-based oncology practice. This role involves a mixture of hematology, oncology, monoclonals, and non-oncology referral infusions. A typical infusion assignment includes caring for 8 patients and providing chemotherapy teaching at the chairside. The maximum daily infusion capacity is 24 patients. Candidates must be able to work independently and manage a full patient assignment with minimal supervision. Experience in the outpatient setting is a strong preference. Strong IV and vascular access skills are essential for patient care. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with patients and the healthcare team.
