Donor Support Specialist

Location: Hybrid – Kansas City, MO Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: $23.82 / hour with overtime pay. Hours/Schedule: 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. | Rotating 2–3 days | Every other weekend Step into a uniquely meaningful role as a Donor Support Specialist, where every conversation and medical chart review contributes to restoring sight and changing lives. What You'll Do Speak with donor families experiencing grief and guiding them through the donation process. Review donor's medical records, complete questionnaires, and communicate with medical staff to determine donor eligibility. Coordinate with funeral homes, medical examiner offices, and hospitals to dispatch Recovery Technicians to donor locations. Work independently and as a team to make critical decisions and solve problems relating to donation criteria. What We Offer Paid daily wellness breaks and great benefits. The Ideal Candidate Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills; empathetic by nature. Strong technical skills, including Microsoft software, database management, and/or phone systems. Ability to multitask, adapt, and manage shifting priorities. Customer service, social work, insurance claims or healthcare industry experience is a plus.
