Application Engineer
District Partners is partnering with an innovative engineering organization to identify an Application Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team where you'll serve as the technical bridge between customers, engineering, and commercial teams. In this role, you'll help translate customer needs into practical engineering solutions, support complex technical projects from concept through implementation, and play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate enjoys solving technical challenges, collaborating across multiple functions, and building strong relationships with both internal teams and customers.
What You'll Be Owning:
- Partner with customers to understand technical requirements and application needs
- Develop technical recommendations and solution proposals
- Support the sales team with quotations, product selection, and technical presentations
- Review specifications and translate customer requirements into engineering deliverables
- Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams throughout project execution
- Provide technical support during implementation and product deployment
- Assist with technical documentation and customer communications
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
What You'll Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Experience supporting technical products in a customer-facing engineering role
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Preferred Experience
- Experience with engineered products or complex technical equipment
- Applications Engineering, Systems Engineering, Field Engineering, or Technical Sales experience
- Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Familiarity with ERP or CRM platforms
