AI Technical Sr Lead

Salary: $115,000 - 183,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors or masters degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• We are looking for 10+ years of experience building and running enterprise-scale platforms, with DevOps engineering expertise and a strong background in applied AI platforms, distributed systems, and intelligent automation.
• We prefer hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure management, especially Google Cloud Platform, Vertex AI, MLOps, and Terraform.
• We need a solid understanding of large language models, including model development and production deployment.
• We expect proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
• We value familiarity with CI/CD tooling and modern delivery practices.
• We look for strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• We need excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• We prefer experience with AutoML platforms such as Vertex AI AutoML and DataRobot, as well as open-source options like Snorkel and H2O.ai.
• Google Cloud certifications, such as Cloud Engineer or GenAI Leader, are a plus.

• We build and support enterprise feature stores and real-time data lakes using BigQuery and Pub/Sub to accelerate predictive modeling and NLP workflows.
• We design and deliver resilient, secure multi-cloud architectures across Google Cloud Platform and Azure using Terraform to enable highly available AI operations.
• We operationalize machine learning models with Python, PySpark, and Kafka for both batch and real-time inference.
• We apply advanced orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, and Vertex AI Agent Builder to create agentic AI solutions.
• We integrate secure inference APIs through gateways such as APIGEE to provide enterprise-grade connectivity.
• We implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for automated model training, deployment, and rollback.
• We standardize LLMOps and MLOps observability using platforms such as LangSmith and Arize.
• We coordinate data and machine learning workflows through Cloud Composer (Airflow).
• We work with data scientists to define model objectives and translate them into technical specifications, selecting suitable foundational models and frameworks to optimize performance, responsiveness, and cost.
• We deploy AI models across multiple environments using CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• We establish observability and data governance with tools such as Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, or Arize to monitor pipeline health and model behavior.
• We evaluate and integrate AI vendors such as Snorkel, H2O.ai, and DataRobot with attention to scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• We ensure deployments meet Responsible AI principles and compliance requirements in regulated financial or retail settings.
• We lead proof of concepts and pilots in controlled lab environments to validate emerging AI technologies.
• We partner with Data Science, Risk, Security, and Product teams to align AI adoption with business priorities.
• We mentor offshore and onshore engineering teams and help maintain high performance and SLA compliance.
• We create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure, model development, and deployment workflows, while promoting best practices across the team.
• We implement security controls to protect sensitive data, address vulnerabilities, and maintain a secure AI environment.
