  • Facilitate support and psychoeducational groups that foster community engagement and provide valuable resources for individuals facing shared mental health challenges.
  • Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure all aspects of client wellness are addressed.
  • Provide crisis intervention services and support during high-stress situations, ensuring clients receive immediate and effective assistance.
  • Educate patients on their mental health conditions, offering insights into treatment options and available community resources that can enhance their recovery journey.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation adhering to state regulations and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to discuss client progress and share best practices with colleagues.
  • Commit to continuous learning by staying updated with emerging research, trends, and methodologies related to mental health therapy.

As a therapist at The Good Mind Psychiatric Clinic, you will work with a diverse client population, ranging from adolescents to adults, across various backgrounds and mental health experiences. Our clients include those dealing with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. A deep understanding of diverse cultural perspectives will enhance the therapeutic process, enabling you to provide the most relevant support.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Washington State.
  • Proficient knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and create effective, individualized treatment plans.
  • Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions with diverse populations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members alike.
  • Understanding of ethical considerations and commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology.
  • A collaborative mindset with a proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
