Primary Care Physician (PCP)

Overview:
Our primary care practice in San Francisco is seeking a Primary Care Physician (PCP) to provide comprehensive outpatient care for a diverse patient population, with autonomy in clinical decision-making and an experienced support team. New grads and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply for this flexible role, available full-time or part-time.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM; full-time or part-time (3-4 days/week) available
• Competitive pay: $150 175 per hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care, including physicals, well visits, detailed clinical assessments, and differential diagnosis
• Manage acute and chronic conditions, including a panel of patients with chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, COPD), using evidence-based protocols
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, including medication management, lifestyle interventions, and follow-up visits
• Educate patients on preventive care, treatment options, and chronic disease self-management
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing, imaging, and laboratory studies, adjusting management plans accordingly
• Administer immunizations and preventive health services
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals, and participate in case reviews, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives
• Document all encounters, orders, and care plans accurately and timely in the EHR

Qualifications:

• Active, current Physician (MD/DO) licensure in California, or eligibility, with DEA registration
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related primary care specialty
• Outpatient primary care experience, ideally in a private practice or ambulatory setting, with EHR proficiency, preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient relationship skills
• Interest in preventive medicine and lifestyle-based interventions preferred
