Corewell Health Taylor Hospital Corewell Health Taylor Hospital is a 148-bed, Magnet®-designated hospital that is a recognized health care leader in the metro Detroit area. Proudly serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977, it offers specialty services that include 24-hour emergency care, wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a surgical pavilion, a pain management clinic, orthopedic surgery, an inpatient rehabilitation facility and full-service radiology, including advanced CT with cardiac scoring, fixed MRI including pacemaker, cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK and elastography). Scope of Work The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader according to Beaumont policies and procedures. Qualifications Required Associate’s Degree or equivalent Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associate’s degree or equivalent. Required Bachelor’s Degree B.S.N., or M.S.N, or DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years, required. This is effective April 18, 2023. 2 years of relevant experience 2 years related acute care nursing experience. Must demonstrate proficiency through competency testing in all nursing areas eligible for floating. Required Internal candidates with less than 2 years of clinical experience must be approved by their current nurse leader and the site Chief Nursing Officer. The candidates are to remain a unit-based PRN (casual) employee until they reach 2 years of nursing experience. Upon Hire required Or CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association Radiology, Pre-Op, PACU, Emergency Care, Critical Care 180 Days required CRT-Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - ENA Emergency Nurses Association Emergency Care 1 Year required And CRT-Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) - ENA Emergency Nurses Association Emergency Care 1 Year required ICU experience Preferred.
