Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Cardiology Physician for a minimum 6-month assignment, starting on May 18 or June 8. This role involves providing daily patient care with 1-2 nights of call per week and weekend call approximately 1 out of every 4-5 weekends. The position requires nuclear boarded and echo boarded physicians; CT boarding is a plus but not mandatory.


Responsibilities include supporting a clinic with an average of 17-18 adult patients per day, performing nuclear reads, stress tests, TEE, cardioversions, and echo monitoring. The clinic is staffed with one full-time physician and lab days are three per week. The EMR system used is EPIC.


Schedule:

• Full-time, day shift (07:30 - 16:00)
• Involves clinic, procedures, and call coverage
• Support staff includes APPs with interventional experience if doing general cardiology

Requirements:

• BC or BE in Cardiology
• PA or IMLC license (only)
• DEA license
• Minimum of 1 year experience
• Credentialing available with a clean file; temps acceptable

Work Environment:

• Clinic and hospital setting in a 150-bed hospital
• Support staff includes APPs with interventional skills (if applicable)
• Special procedures include nuclear reads, stress tests, TEE, cardioversions, and echo monitors
