Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Active NC License required Certifications: BLS required Description: Client is a premier healthcare facility recognized for providing high clinical quality and patient care. The facility is licensed for 815 beds and has received numerous accolades for patient safety and nursing excellence. It serves as a regional referral center with specialized services, including trauma care and robotics surgery. The orthopedic unit has 32 individual rooms and a staffing model designed to support patient needs effectively. The patient-to-nurse ratio is organized to provide high-quality care, with both day and night shift considerations in place. Key equipment utilized on the unit includes walkers, bedside commodes, and vital sign machines, among others. Registered Nurses will engage in essential procedures such as dressing changes, suture removal, and catheter management. Ideal candidates will possess a strong commitment to teamwork and adapt well to a fast-paced environment. The atmosphere is one of collaboration, where caring for patients is approached with compassion and familial attention. All staff is expected to adhere to a designated dress code related to scrub colors based on role. Weekend work is required on an every other weekend basis. This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of care and service excellence.
